“America the Beautiful” Concert

On Sunday, June 24, at 4:00 p.m., Highlands Presbyterian Church will hold a concert featuring well-loved music by John Hewitt, Irving Berlin, Aaron Copeland, John Philip Sousa, and more. A free-will offering will be taken to benefit Heroes to Heroes, a nonprofit organization committed to providing spiritual healing, suicide prevention and peer support for veterans who suffer from moral injury and PTSD, in large part through organizing spiritual pilgrimages to Israel for veterans. Judy Isaacson Schaffer, the founder and president of Heroes to Heroes, will be present to talk briefly about her organization’s work. A reception will follow the concert.
