Highland's Daily Hymnspiration: "Go to Dark Gesthemane"

During this unusual holy week, we hope to provide you with hymns that comfort you and remind us all of the great sacrifice. Today's hymnspiration is "Go to Dark Gesthemane", written in 1825 by James Montgomery, who had suffered great loss in his own life, losing both of his parents while he was in school. These words come from a place of great love & sadness. "Go to dark Gethsemane, You who feel the tempter's pow'r; Your Redeemer's conflict see; Watch with Him one bitter hour; Turn not from His griefs away; Learn of Jesus Christ to pray."
